Advanced Diagnostics for Better Outcomes
We understand that when your pet is ill or injured, every moment counts. That’s why we offer in-house diagnostics, including the most advanced equipment and an on-site lab. Our advanced diagnostic capabilities enable us to quickly and accurately diagnose your pet’s condition, allowing for prompt treatment and better outcomes.
In-House Laboratory: Faster Results, Quicker Treatment
Our in-house laboratory allows us to perform a wide range of tests on-site, without the need to send samples to an outside lab. This means you get results faster, and your pet can begin receiving the appropriate treatment sooner.
In House Testing Options:
- Comprehensive blood screens (liver, kidney, pancreatic, and general chemistry profiles)
- Complete blood counts
- Urinalysis and urine protein creatinine ratio
- Intestinal parasite testing
- Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) testing
- Canine parvovirus testing
- Progesterone testing for breeding management
- Cytology for the microscopic examination of cells
In the rare cases where your pet requires specialized tests beyond our in-house capabilities, we partner with trusted external laboratories to ensure your pet receives the most comprehensive care possible.
Digital Radiology
All Creatures Veterinary Services employs advanced digital radiology (X-ray) technology to obtain high-quality images of your pet’s internal structures. Digital X-rays allow our veterinarians to detect and diagnose a wide range of conditions, including:
- Skeletal fractures and abnormalities
- Soft tissue injuries or changes
- Foreign bodies (ingested objects)
- Dental disease
To ensure the highest quality images, we may need to sedate your pet briefly for orthopedic radiographs and contrast studies. Rest assured, our experienced team will prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort throughout the process.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound is a non-invasive diagnostic tool that allows us to visualize your pet’s internal organs in real-time. At All Creatures Veterinary Services, we use ultrasound to:
- Evaluate organ health and function
- Detect pregnancies
- Perform focused assessments with sonography for trauma (FAST) in emergency cases
For more complex cases requiring full abdominal or thoracic ultrasounds, we collaborate with board-certified radiologists and internists to ensure your pet receives the most accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment plan. If you have any questions about our diagnostic services or would like to schedule an appointment for your pet, please call us at (706) 283-2761. We look forward to being your partner in your pet’s health and well-being.
