Dr. Keri M. Bunn was born and raised in Queens, New York. After graduating from Georgia College and State University with a BS in Biology, she worked as a veterinary technician while applying for vet school. She graduated from the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2010. During her clinical rotations year, Keri received the John Morton Award for Humane Animal Care. Keri enjoys working with all species of animals from cats and dogs to sheep and goats and even the occasional horse.
Currently Keri lives in Hull with her husband, son and their pets (4 dogs and 1 cat). In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dogs, fishing, hiking, reading and playing pool. As a new member of the veterinary staff at Elberton Animal Hospital, Keri hopes to bring health and happiness to all of the patients' and clients' lives that she touches.
Dr. Amy W Dorminey purchased the practice in September of 2012. Dr. Dorminey is a 2006 Cum Laude graduate from the University Of Georgia College Of Veterinary Medicine. Before coming to Toccoa, Dr. Dorminey spent 4 years as an associate vet practicing mixed animal medicine at the Claxton Veterinary Clinic in Claxton GA. Her special veterinary interests are soft tissue surgery, dermatology, and internal medicine.
When Dr. Dorminey isn't working, she enjoys reading and writing poetry, as well as spending time with her family, especially her 3 nephews Logan, Mason, and Carson. Dr. Dorminey and her husband have a total of 5 dogs and 2 cats. Boomer, her black Labrador, has become a client favorite as he welcomes everyone to the clinic.
Brittany Wilkinson, our head veterinary technician and office manager, is originally from South Georgia. In May of 2012 she earned her BS in Biology from Georgia Southern University. In her free time she enjoys hunting, fishing and shopping.
Rose Neal, one of our kennel assistants, has been working with us since August of 2013. She attends Athens Technical College. She has a sister and a twin brother as well as 4 dogs and 2 horses. She enjoys hunting, shopping, and working.
Marlee, one of our kennel assistants, is 20 and has been working with Elberton Animal Hospital since August of 2015. She attends Athens Technical College and plans to receive a degree in Nursing. In her free time she enjoys music, hunting, and being outdoors.
Erin, one of our kennel assistants, is 25. She and her husband Caleb took in a miniature Australian Shepherd, Nova. She received basic dog training certification with Animal Behavior College and also works with county animal control. Besides animals, she loves art, books, and movies.
